About Vegas On Fire
by Chad Northey
I started writing lyrics 10 years ago one night when I was bored. I can't say why I decided to do this but I'm glad I did. I began by sitting at a park bench at nigh writing in a note book. I thought my songs were so great back then but when I look back, now that I am a great writer, they sucked. Not saying that I'm disappointed in my earlier writings. Everyone starts somewhere and no one is a perfect right away. Since that night of '08 I have written over 500 songs and will be having one in my local magazine next month.
To all the new lyrical writers. Never give up. No matter what people say or how crappy you think your lyrics are. You'll get better in time. Practice makes perfect.
