Leilah
Leilah is the daughter of 60's music pioneer, Melanie (hits like "Brand New Key," "Lay Down," "Beautiful People"), and has been performing since the age of 8 when she had her first hit "Grandma We Love You" in Canada. Since then she has been traveling all over the world singing background vocals and performing her own material. She has played shows and festivals such as 1998's Woodstock, dubbed "A Day In The Garden," where she kicked off the day for Marcy Playground, The Goo Goo Dolls, and of course the original Woodstock icons, Melanie, Richie Havens, Lou Reed and Pete Townsend.
Leilah studied music at the University of Colorado in Denver. She has performed at numerous venues and has sung the National Anthem at a Tampa Bay Storm game in front of thousands. Most recently Leilah has performed in Germany, Holland and Australia as well as throughout the USA and has performed for many well known companies including Matria, Rifkin Report, the American Beauty pagent, IBM, and more.
Leilah, now living in Nashville...Music City!, continues to grow as a songwriter and as a performer...and she continues to add to her vast collection of captivating stories in music.
