TAXI Founder Michael Laskow Says..."Don't Miss the Durango Songwriters Expo!"

Only an insane person would promote somebody else's music conference while they are getting ready to put one on themselves, so I guess I'm insane... maybe just really enthusiastic!

But I'm betting that not every one of you reading this is coming to the Road Rally, so I want to let you know about another conference that I highly recommend - the Durango Songwriter's Expo, which is actually being held in Tucson, Arizona, October 4-6th [2007]!

I go to this event every year, and count it as one of the very best. It's intimate, and I've made many great friends there over the ten years or so that I've been going.

The Expo is a combination of workshops, listening sessions, panels, showcases, and open mics. With over 40 music industry pros and hit songwriters. Yours truly will be moderating the A&R panel, so you know that'll be fun ;-)

I've never met anybody who attended and didn't love it. I'm sure you will as well. Like I said, you know it's got to be good if I'm recommending it, and it comes up a month before the Road Rally. I know the really smart people will attend both!
