Singer-Songwriter RaShelle Myra
Since the age of 4, RaShelle Myra composed music and played piano by ear, dreaming of the day when she would be able to connect to people around the world through the performance of her music. Later in college, she began to explore different forms of music while she studied tango and jazz in Argentina.
After to moving to the mountains of Montana for graduate school, the experience of apprenticing with a Grammy award-winning producer and an awarding winning composer inspired her to take a big leap and pursue her musical dreams.
In the summer of 2013, RaShelle Myra formed a band with members from the World Youth Symphony Orchestra at Interlochen Center for the Arts called, Ro Ro & The Boats. She wrote and recorded a self-titled live EP with the band, which was released in September 2013. In December of 2014, RaShelle released her Late December EP, which is the first of a four part seasonal EP project.
Most recently her music has gained momentum through touring, recording, and performing around the United States. After her songs were selected by ASCAP for their Pop Songwriting Workshop, RaShelle decided to move Nashville where she is currently working on a publishing deal and is creating her second EP with 2016 International Songwriting Competition winner Josh Meltzer.
