Hi:) My name is Rachel Morgan Perry and I am a 17 year old singer/songwriter. I love music and split my time between Nashville and Boulder Colorado. My lovely music has won recognition such as First Runner-up at the Tucson Folk Festival and First Place at the Colorado Night of Stars Competition and I recently was recognized with an honorable mention at both the Telluride Bluegrass Troubadour and Rocky Mountain Folk Festival Songwriting Competitions . My absolute favorite things to do would include singing, songwriting, playing guitar, performing, and basically living life. I just recently discovered that I was meant to play the ukulele, I would definitely vote it as the best instrument in the world! Haha, I also quite enjoy playing the piano. Music is my favorite, ever. I love writing songs with my stories or making them based on experiences that I have had. Writing songs seems to be a bandaid for my heart... or an opportunity to shout things from a mountain top! I really do hope that anyone who listens to my music can somehow relate. Music is just one of those universal things that I hope to reach all people with.

I have performed all around Nashville, Arizona and Colorado including venues such as Nashville's Bluebird Cafe, The Commodore Grill, The Nashville Palace, Douglas Corner Cafe' and The Hotel Indigo and Colorado venue's such as 3J's Coffee House, Mary's Lake Lodge, Aspen Lodge, The Rock N Soul Cafe, Cannon Mine Coffee, The Broomfield Auditorium, and Everyday Joe's. I have played outdoor festivals and concerts such as Fiddler's Green , the Rhythm on the Rails Outdoor Concert Series, the Tucson Folk Festival and the Boulder Creek Festival . My music has been played on Women of Substance internet radio and Jango.com radio. I was recently a featured artist on the Cafe Corner program on KLTT 560 am radio in Denver and the Live at Lunch Program on 88.9 KRFC Radio in Fort Collins. I have opened for national recording artists such as Chris Sligh of American Idol , and bands such as LEO and Rough Draft and was recently featured as part of the Country Throwdown Tour with the Bluebird Songwriters during the 2010 summer !!


I love dancing in the pouring rain, and become mesmerized by watching the ocean waves crash in front of me. I embrace every adventure life brings to me. I believe in true love, and hope for nothing less than a fairy tale in the end. I'm the type of girl who wishes on every star, and dream until my head hurts. I love music with all of my heart, and will be playing it until death do us part... shoot cheesy I know... but it is undeniably true. Love always!! <3
