Passions For Music: Chuck Sadosky

by Chuck Sadosky
(Berlin, CT)

My hunger remains to make music that speaks to you, whatever your circumstance. My music passion started early. I began performing, writing, publishing and producing when I was 14. My first trips into the studio to record songs I had written were in 1967 at the age of 15. I play guitar(s), drums and other percussion. Most of my background has been in RNB, soul, and progressive, alternative rock, performing and producing great bands in the New England area. I love minors and dissonance wherever I can apply them in my music. I am thankful for so many who were inspirations to me in the past (Doc Cavalier, Dick Robinson, and Al Anderson) to name a few. Thanks to the web I'm back in touch with great musicians I had the pleasure to work with years before. These friends began prompting me back into writing, singing and producing again. I have more than a dozen new original songs brewing, but I put one new song’ out, "The Walk", as a very raw, unmixed video, with one verse, as a feeler for some feedback. I was humbled by the positive responses. The little video continues being watched not only in the US, but in many countries around the world. Another, near complete version of The Walk is posted on- line as an instrumental. I have performed it live with vocals and plan to complete vocals in the studio in 2016. An EP with five other original songs was released on various sites such as numberonemusic (N1M), jango radio, reverbnation and chucksadosky.com with very positive feedback. Song plays and site hits have totaled more than 500K and have developed a subscription fan base of over 6,000 growing daily. I have been in and out of the music arena for most of my life and continue to love songwriting, singing and producing. My hunger remains to make music that speaks to you, whatever your circumstance.
