The mission statement of Yankee Medic Recording Artist LEM GENOVESE ( "Jen-on-VAYZ" )is to build a musical bridge of understanding, compassion and respect for our military heritage to generations of Americans who are willing to share in his musical vision.

With his Taylor 'Leo Kottke" model 12 and 6 string guitars,as a nationally recognized veteran tunesmith, Lem has performed nationwide on behalf of military families and veterans since 1975. Long before it was deemed 'politically correct'. He is a retired Army/Guard veteran of both Vietnam and a combat medic of Desert Storm.

Authenticity, integrity and longevity are "Old School"
values. Here is original acoustic material that spans genres, demographics and is truly a living legacy.

The subject manner of his songs can range from a trek to Key West, Florida with a Caribbean flavor in his song - "8 Mile Isle", to a jazz instrumental about baseball like "Silence From Deep Center". His approach is based on having a fun time with an audience and his honest,self-effacing rapport has to be witnessed first hand to be believed. The stories behind some of his songs are worth the price of admission themselves, which is why after decades of fans
clamoring for him to write a book about the historic events he has witnessed firsthand, his memoir is finally being written.

Regardless of the size of the event, from an intimate venue to a large festival, this music shows the years that Lem has invested in it reflects the best of what it is to be truly an AMERICAN artist.
