Lee Johnson's Recent Placement on "Nashville" (and other 2013 news)!

Lee Johnson and buddy Mitch Townley recently had a song placed in ABC's hit TV show "Nashville" !!! (episode 209, 12/4/13) It was a 45 second background spot while 2 characters were chatting backstage. The song, "How We Roll" was written in fall of 2008, and was a "Jason Aldean" type song with roots in Southern Rock. Lee played it live at a DSE showcase that year! They signed the song a couple years later, to "Silk and Denim Songmatchers" with Frances and Harry Date. The song didn't get much action at first, but more time passed, (they actually kinda forgot about the song), and like the saying goes, "all good things in time"! See you in Santa Barbara, Spring 2014!

Here is some more recent good news from Lee's website http://www.leejohnsonsongs.com
