I'm a singer, songwriter and thinker in the Vancouver, B.C. area who has very similar musical tastes, apparently, to you. I speak of early R&B, traditional country, ballads and bluegrass. I've always felt to be at a greater financial disadvantage then most and couldn't do things such as travelling to Nashville.
Since joining a songwriters' group though, my songs have proven to be popular enough for one of the group to record one at no charge to me. I've also found a movie producer who I've made a few movies with and he featured a few of my songs in a bio movie about me, Maybe I should be writing this info in my own autobiography,
I'd love to hear some of your music though if I could download it.
