Is songwriter expo worth it to you? by: Lance Bakemeyer
I am considering attending the expo in Boulder this year. I have never been before to a songwriting expo, but I have songs in movies and tv. The reason I have never gone is that my writing style is somewhat like yours. (Classic Country/Western/Rockabilly)
My impression of the expo is that they are really just looking for the next Top Country song, and I don't really write or even listen to that music much. Have you had luck placing your songs with the reviewers?, and what do you get out of attending?
Thanks in advance for your reply - lancebakemeyer@wildblue.net
