Grammy Camp showcase performing
Jobi is a 17 year from Morrison Colorado. She has been singing and playing guitar since she was in elementary school. At age 12, she won KYGO Radio's Rocky Mountain Idol contest and opened for Hunter Hayes a few months later as a result.
Her songwriting dates back to middle school. Her song "White Noise" was a finalist at Denver Swallow Hills Young Songwriters contest in 2013. Jobi recently atteneded Grammy Camp In Los Angeles this past summer and co-wrote 3 songs, all which were recorded and featured in the final showcase. Her writing crosses many genres including country, indie folk, pop, R&B as well as jazz. Jobi also plays mandolin and credits Rockygrass Academy for helping her with songwriting as well as pickin' skills.
When not writng songs, Jobi can be found living the life of a normal high school senior at Mullen High School where she is involved with the Acapella Group and Musical Theater.
Jobi plans to continue songwriting as a career and is actively checking out colleges that will help her fulfill that goal!
