Jim Fish was raised to the sounds of a crooked creek. Born with a love for a nature and the sound of 6 strings dialed up tight on an acoustic guitar his passions in life are simple.
Jim inspires to perform and write songs with the toe tapping energy that reflects his rural Ozark roots. His home grown musical style makes a rhythmic connection with country-bluegrass and folk-rock audiences everywhere. It's a bit contagious and when questioned he calls his musical genre "mountain country". He also admits that he is hard to corner into any genre as he is constantly working to find himself.
As an ASCAP artist, Jim has been fortunate to take the stage in a wide range of settings through out his new home state of Utah. He has also played music festivals in Wyoming and Nevada.
Jim was selected as one of the Top 3 finalist in the nationally recognized Susanne Millsap's Performing Songwriter Contest in Salt Lake City, Utah. This prestigious contest for performing songwriters began in 1996 with the radio station KRCL 90.9 and continues to bring in talented performing songwriters from around the United States.
