British Columbia, Canada native, Andi Zack, moved to Nashville to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter after an impressive run as a cartoon voice over actress for Chinook Animation in Calgary Alberta. Andi can be “heard” performing in over 100 features released in several countries around the world.
Shortly after moving to music city, Andi interned for publisher Ginny Johnson and producer Billy Joe Walker. There she got to experience the music business in full swing, working day to day with artists like Travis Tritt, Tracy Byrd, Mark Chesnutt and Billy Ray Cyrus. Soon she landed her first major publishing deal which lead to her first top 20 hit in 2010 with a song she co-wrote called “Beer On The Table”, recorded by Columbia recording artist Josh Thompson. Josh's debut single reached #16 after 36 weeks on the U.S. Billboard Country Chart. The song also is featured in the hit Nintendo WII game, "Country Dance".
Since then she’s had songs recorded by artists such as Danielle , Elle Maze, Rachel Bradshaw, The Brothers Osborne, and two songs produced by 30 time Grammy winner Vince Gill, recorded for his daughter Jenny’s first record. Andi's song "Make It Fast" cowritten with Jon Coleman (piano player for Trace Adkins and Leroy Parnell), was recorded by legendary singer Etta Britt and was featured on "Good Morning America" when Etta appeared to promote the album's release.
Andi's aspirations didn't stop there… She soon decided to develop another creative passion. Musical film.
In 2011 she incorporated her own film production company called “Lemonademaker Productions”. As of October, 2013, she has been credited with producing and directing multiple music video’s including four that have appeared regularly on CMT, GAC and Zuus TV networks.
Nashville powerhouses like Sony, Columbia, Carnival, Universal and Warner Brothers have all put their faith in Andi to take the helm as video director with their artists including Josh Thompson, The Dirt Drifters, Kalisa Ewing, Bush Hawg and Adam Hood and Josh Grider. She was also a video consultant and director for legendary quarterback Terry Bradshaw's Las Vegas show and served as video director for the production. Her work has been seen on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and Fox News as well as "Fox and Friends".
While enjoying the success of Lemonademaker, Andi is still very focused on her songwriting. She is now putting the finishing touches on a new album of her own entitled "Love Party" to be released in 2014, produced by hit songwriter Buck Johnson along with Grammy winning producer Skidd Mills.
Andi is excited to have just renewed her contract with Nashville’s, Diamond Eye Music. Look for new cuts this year with The Brothers Osborne, Rachel Bradshaw and Indie artist, Elle Maze.
Editors note: The Expo is proud to say that Andi has been, and continues to be, a big part of the Durango family, having appeared at our events many many times! Thanks Andi!!
