September 30, 2007
Latest Updates on Tucson Expo!Hi Everybody, Jim Attebery here with a few more updates regarding the upcoming Fall Expo October 4-6 at the Esplendor Resort at Rio Rico (in southern Arizona near Tucson):
TUCSON AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
Next week I'll be doing some radio promos on Monday and Tuesday with local Tucson radio station 92.9 The Mountain, so if you're in town switch it on! Also our friend and GREAT songwriter Matt Scannell of Vertical Horizon (who will be at the Expo) will be taking part in the station's Green October Day on October 5th.
If you are coming in early, on Wednesday evening we will be organizing a little "getaway" to Nob Hill located in the Tubac artist community nearby. Meet up in the lobby of the Esplendor around 6pm to catch the shuttle.
We are hitting the stretch run for the Rio Rico Expo. Openings still remain but time is short now. We have a monster line-up of industry people (recently added Garth Fundis and Kurt Denny!) for you to meet, share your music with and talk to one-on-one. Truly there is hardly another event in the world where you can spend such quality time with MAJOR players in the biz as the Durango Songwriters Expo. DON'T MISS IT!
Call me directly at 970-259-9747 if you are having problems or concerns making your plans!

Not everyone can join us in Durango each year to be educated and inspired by our panelists and hit songwriters. But every songwriter can now have access to the next-best thing -- DurangoSong.com -- and benefit from many of the same resources provided each year at the Durango Songwriters Expo.
DS.com offers Members a chance to hear writers, publishers, producers, managers and executives who decide what songs and artists make it to the big leagues.
Annually, we record the EXPO Panel Discussions and make them available in our subscription-based DurangoSong.com Backstage. If you can't make it to the EXPO in person, you can still get the same information from our ever-growing library of recorded discussions, as well as songwriter interviews and other special features.
Got a Website? Special Request from the EXPO—If you've been marketing yourself and your music through a website, no doubt you already know the importance of "back-links" (how many websites, and their popularity, link to YOU) in gaining high search engine rankings and growing your traffic.
If you are interested in exchanging links, please link to:
Then send us an email with YOUR link either by using the Contact Us Form, or sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
