Thanks for Another Tremendous Expo!! June 19, 2006 |
Greetings! Thanks for Another Tremendous Expo!!On behalf of our entire staff, we want to thank EVERYONE who helped make the 2006 (June 1-3) Santa Barbara EXPO another unforgettable event! (A very special THANK YOU goes out to our volunteers without whom these events simply would not happen!!)If you missed it, there's another chance to participate coming up October 5-7, 2006 in Park City, UT (our first time there)! Our next EXPO will be held October 5-7, 2006 at the beautiful Canyons Resort. To reserve your room call 1-888-CANYONS and make sure to identify yourself as being with the Durango Songwriters Group. There are two hotels at The Canyons literally adjacent to each other, The Sundial Lodge and The Grand Summit. Both are spectacular! The rooms are just $89/night at The Sundial Lodge and slightly higher at The Grand Summit. The hotels are separated only by a patio. Get a jump on things and help us out too by booking your hotel and flight early. The October Park City Expo Registration Form and Brochure will be available around July 1st, in the mail to our list and online at our website as well. We look forward to another great Expo in Park City!

Email jack@durangosong.com if you would like to be added to the line-up.
The THIRD MONDAY of each month, the lovely and talented (and multiple EXPO veteran) Amanda Williams, co-hosts the special Durango Songwriters Night at Nashville's Blue Bar and Rack Room. The Blue Bar (it's a pink building!) is located just off Music Row at 1911 Broadway, Nashville. Telephone: 615.327.8001. What is DurangoSong.com?
Not everyone can join us in Durango each year to be educated and inspired by our
panelists and hit songwriters. But every songwriter can now have access to the next-best thing- DurangoSong.com- and benefit from many of the same resources provided each year at the Durango Songwriter's Expo.
DS.com offers Members a chance to hear writers, publishers, producers, managers and executives who decide what songs and artists make it to the big leagues. Annually, we record the EXPO Panel Discussions and make them available in our subscription-based DurangoSong.com Backstage. If you can't make it to the EXPO in person, you can still get the same information from our ever-growing library of recorded discussions, as well as songwriter interviews and other special features. |
