Update from Jim on the next Expo: For those Denver based artists/songwriters coming to The Expo please keep in mind the value of staying at The Omni and participating in all the after hours co-writing and networking that takes place, it's invaluable and a huge part of the benefit of The Expo. The way to best do that if you're on a limited budget (aren't we all!) is to double or triple up in rooms with other Expo attendees. That way you get all the benefits of The Expo while managing expenses. I can't stress enough how important that is and any Expo regular will second that! We'll help you find roommates if need be. You can call me at 970-259-9747.
Just Added: Extra Meet and Greet next week in Colorado Springs! Tuesday, July 13th at 6pm -- Stargazers (10 Parkside Dr., 719.476.2200). Hosted by local NSAI Director Rob Jones with Jim Attebery, Jack Hayford, cool local people and more! Join us!
Next Week: We'll be hosting THREE Meet and Greets in The Denver area as we prepare for the upcoming Expo at the fabulous Omni Interlocken Resort, Oct. 7-9.
The first Meet and Greet will be at Casselmans, a great new club near Lodo CO Monday, July 12 at 7pm. Casselman's is located at 2620 Walnut St. and the phone # is 720.242.8923. Bring some friends and your guitar, we will have a keyboard there!
Thursday, July 15 we'll be at our good friend Lydia Fiore's marvelous and spacious studio, Globalsound Studio in the Performance Room at 7pm. The studio is at 555 Alter St. Unit F in Broomfield. Take the US 287 exit north off Boulder Turnpike (US 36), first left on Midway, first right on Alter.
Again, bring friends and your guitar. It's a great time for Expo-ites to catch up and for new people to learn about The Expo. Both mrJack and I will be there and we look forward to seeing you all. We had a lot of fun doing this last year...and thanks to many we met at the 2009 get-togethers, we have a lot of new friends on the Front Range! Come on out! --Jim
The NEXT important date is July 20th. That's the end of the "Early-Bird" registration price of $250. After July 20th, the price goes up to $299.
If you have questions about anything "Expo" call Jim Attebery at 970.259.9747.
