Still Alive and Kicking in Nashville!

Hello fellow Durangonians! We sincerely hope that ALL of you and yours are SAFE and SOUND, especially those affected by the terrible Cumberland River flooding in Tennessee. Many of our friends had gear at Soundcheck and they got hit hard. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.

Don't miss Monday's Durango Songwriters Expo-sponsored Blue Monday hosted by Amanda Williams and Matthew Burgess at the Blue Bar. We have A LOT of fun down there and this show is very special as two of favorite Expo-ites, Jimmy Muffin and Ryan Shea Smith, will be visiting from the hard-left coast. Plus Jessica Urick and Amanda and...well hell, what else do you need? Come have a drink with us at our NEW TIME 6-9pm on Monday May 17th!

Lots of BENEFIT activity going on in town to help out the misfortunate flood victims. Our friend Chris Blair is hosting a BIG charity event on Sunday, May 16th at THE LISTENING ROOM. Check it out if you can...MANY big names including LONESTAR, Trent Tomlinson, Rivers Rutherford...killer people.

AND...our very talented friend and associate KELLY GARRETT has put together a monster event for the benefit of the greater-Nashville Salvation Army at none other than mega-star Kix Brooks' Arrington Winery!

Co-Founded by Kix Brooks, Arrington Vineyards is located 25 minutes south of Nashville among the beautiful hills of Arrington, Tennessee.

Now that's the good news...the not so good news (for some of us) is that it sold out in about 5 nanoseconds. WAIT...there might be more a few more tickets that come available. We hope so! Call the Vineyard for info at 615-395-0102.

The Fall Expo is booked for OCT 7-9 and the incredible Omni Interlocken Resort at [Broomfield, CO]

"The Omni is a welcome retreat into modern luxury. Nestled against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, this year-round resort provides all the comforts for the 21st century business and leisure traveler. And with a wealth of activities located right on the premises, the Omni Interlocken Resort has something for everyone, no matter what your pleasure.

"Golf enthusiasts will find our 27-hole championship golf course challenging yet rewarding, with its striking scenery and more than 400 feet of elevation changes.

"After a few rounds of golf, escape into a sanctuary of our Mokara Spa, an environment of total relaxation and the perfect escape into serenity. Enjoy a relaxing massage, body treatment or one of our rejuvenating facial treatments. Spa services include use of the sauna, fitness room, steam room and inhalation room."
