WWAHM FILM AND TV WINNERS ANNOUNCED (SORT OF!)

Hey Everybody this is mrJack here with the skinny on the WWAHM 2011-1 WINNERS OF THE FILM and TV VOCAL AND INSTRUMENTAL CATEGORIES.

For the moment, there is no INSTRUMENTAL winner but there IS a winner in each catalog category, Riptide Music and Pacifica Music, respectively.

The WINNER in the FILM/TV VOCAL category (Riptide Music) is: Dave Hedin ("Godspeed")

The WINNER in the FILM/TV category (Pacifica Music) is: Athena Marie Byrne ("Iím Over Getting Over You")

CONGRATS ATHENA MARIE AND DAVE!

Now, about the INSTRUMENTAL category: Everyone who entered in it this time (2011-1) will be allowed to enter the same or a different song in our next WWAHM, just before the OCT 2011 Expo in Colorado.

Our mission here has always been to provide the best possible connections. And Rich Goldman and his companies Riptide Music and Pacifica Music are people you need to know if you are writing and producing music.

But we, as a group (this was our first time around with this category!), need to become more familiar with what kinds of material Riptide and Pacifica can realistically place in a meaningful way. Becuase that's the deal. They are looking for material and we are trying to send you their way!

So we are reprising the INSTRUMENTAL category and YOU will be included again if you entered this time. We urge you to visit Pacifica Music to learn more about Pacifica Music before deciding what song(s) to enter.

Rich Goldman will be among other panelists at the
10:15am-11:30am Saturday, FEB 26 Film and TV Panel - Chad Greer, Diana Turk, Tricia Holloway Toddrick Spaulding, Rich Goldman, Alethia Austin.

Talk to Rich at the Expo about "other use" opportunities for your music. Many Expo-ites have already cashed in on working with Riptide Music and/or Pacifica Music.
